Most of us have grown accustomed to hearing unusual things. All you have to do is turn on the news for more than five minutes and something strange is going to be coming out of the speakers.
It seems to have taken an unusual turn recently, however, when Elon Musk began making some comments. In fact, those comments have even caused his child to jump into the ring.
Much of the strangeness that seems to come into our lives is all surrounding the election. With the presidential debates taking place, you are going to hear some strange things and now that Joe Biden has stepped down, we have someone else coming in against Trump.
Kamala Harris is that someone and she has corrected Trump and some of the things he had said. This includes some statements he made about abortions and when he claimed that immigrants are eating cats and dogs.
One person who had something to say about the upcoming election is Taylor Swift. She went on Instagram and said that she would be standing in the corner with Kamala Harris.
That statement was posted to her 283 million followers. It said: “I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.
“I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.
“I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades.”
Even in her sign-off, she took a stab at Trump in this particular case. It was the vice presidential candidate, JD Vance. He had referred to Democrats as being ‘a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives’.
Elon Musk decided he would write something in response but in the end, it didn’t turn out as well as he thought. He said: “Fine Taylor … you win … I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life.”
Considering the fact that he is one of the richest men in the world, you would think that he had somebody checking him before he hit the submit button. Now, people are calling him bizarre and weird. Even his transgender daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson had something to say.
Wilson said: “The timing for the Taylor Swift endorsement of Kamala Harris honestly could not have been better. Can’t wait to see the Swifties at the polls. Vote blue.
“Also, yes, I saw ‘the tweet’. Heinous incel nonsense is in fact heinous incel nonsense.
“I don’t really have anything to add to it, it’s just abhorrent. That much is obvious and if you don’t see how then you’re part of the problem.
“I would just like to say to my audience members, don’t let people talk to you like that. It’s disgusting, it’s belittling and incredibly sexist. You deserve better.”
This will be interesting to watch.
